Today's recipe is called Hilsa Khichuri

Who doesn't like to eat khichuri and if a little hilsa fish is fried with khichuri, then there is no point in eating these two foods, one of the most favorite food of Bengalis. Many people cook hilsa khichuri in the rainy season but the food often does not become delicious due to lack of proper cooking method. And so before we cook hilsa khichuri, all we need to do is first know the recipe for cooking hilsa khichuri, so let's start today's hilsa khichuri recipe.

Materials needed to make

# 3 cups polao rice

# Six to eight pieces of hilsa fish

# About one and a half cups of mug dal

# Lentils like about a cup and a half

# Ginger paste 1 tbsp

# 1 tablespoon of garlic paste

# 10 to 12 tablespoons mustard oil

# 3 to 4 teaspoons turmeric powder

# 6 to 7 cardamoms

# 6 cloves

# 4 Cinnamon

Soak the polao rice in water for half an hour, then wash it well and drain the water.

While the polao rice is dripping with water, you wash the fish clean, add a little turmeric and salt in it, put the oil pan in the oven and when the oil is hot, lightly wet it.

Now all you have to do is add cloves, cinnamon, cardamom in the oil, then stir a little and keep stirring well with rice, pulses, yellow garlic and ginger.

When the rice is fried, add enough water and salt to taste. When it boils, remove the lid. When the water is dry, add raw chilli and fried hilsa fish. And immediately put the lid on the rice for a while.

Then remove from the oven and serve hot hilsa khichuri.
