Quite recently, as if yesterday I wrote an article about what should be done in August, and today we are on the verge of autumn pulling warm sweatshirts and autumn jackets out of our wardrobes.
I hope you followed my advice for August, having eaten plenty of delicious watermelons, ice cream, got out on a picnic, to an interesting open-air concert, and perhaps even started an affair.
So how can you keep your mood high despite the slush and dullness outside the window?
Remember that nature does not have bad weather and do not forget about the following tips!
1. Funny TV series or favorite comedy
Autumn days are great for revisiting your favorite comedy or a funny movie that your friends have recommended. If in the evening you do not have the strength to watch movies, then you can watch from your phone on the way to work and come to the workplace charged not only with coffee, but also with the morning positive.
2. Fruit for vitamin support
Eat plenty of fruit all year round as regular bananas contain mood-boosting substances. And, although in autumn the variety of fruits on the trees and in the markets is declining, but fresh apples, pears and plums will be able to be present in our kitchen for a long time, maintaining the level of vitamins in the body.
3. Say no to black clothes
Habit or practicality, but the fact is that most of us wear darker clothes in autumn, which, in symbiosis with dirt, cold and wind, does not create the most rosy mood. If you have plans to buy a new jacket for the fall, then buy something more fun!
4. Planning your next vacation
Even if it’s too early for you to think about a vacation, and you have recently returned from the previous one, reflections and plans for your next vacation will help you to think exclusively of good things.
5. Sports as anti-stress
Yoga, like any other sports activity, will help you stay alert, energetic and drive away any despondency. Yoga, Pilates, boxing, basketball, dancing or judo - it's up to you. Follow your aspirations or the presence of sections nearby, and your body will reward you with a cheerful mood.
6. Get enough sleep and do not forget about walks in the fresh air
In the modern world, many people find it difficult to establish the correct sleep and wakefulness regime, but this is a necessary condition for a good mood. Someone stays up late at the computer, and someone is forced to go out on the night shift, but even with such a schedule, it is worth making sure that the sleep time is at least 8 hours.
7. Change the interior
If your budget does not plan for the cost of a grandiose interior change, then moving the sofa and buying a new painting will be sufficient measures. Clean up your apartment and make the atmosphere of your apartment or house peaceful and comfortable. This can be facilitated by a new wallpaper, a rearrangement of furniture, a new floor rug, curtains or a new flower vase.
8. Beautiful manicure!
This advice is exclusively for women who, with the help of bright, sunny colors of their nails, are able to cheer up not only themselves, but also those around them.
9. Don't lock yourself at home
Very effective and correct advice, and somewhat strange that it ended up at the tail of the list of useful tips for dealing with the autumn blues. Agree that in disgusting weather, you want to lie more at home on the couch, reflecting on the futility of being, but this idleness delays and disorganizes! No wonder, there are often posts about Anton Chekhov and how he wrote his books after exhausting work in the hospital. The writer's efficiency was so high that he simply did not have time to be sad. Go to the theater, visit, take a walk in the park, ride your bike in the end!
10. Romance
Where in our gray world, where the daily rush rhythm of life drives society into chronic stress, do without romance and a kindred spirit next to whom it is pleasant to share all the events of the day over a cup of hot tea. Arrange romantic evenings or make pleasant surprises for your significant other and the autumn will be warm and joyful.
