Originally, I had planned a little more for that day, but unfortunately the weather didn't turn out as I had imagined. I had a few hours to spare in the afternoon and I actually wanted to use them to get some fresh air. But it started to rain around lunchtime and the rain continued for a few hours, so I had to change my plans at short notice.
Well, of course there's always something to do at work, so at least I didn't get bored. And by the time I set off, the rain had subsided and the sky had cleared. After a short time, it seemed as if it had never rained, it suddenly became so blue and sunny. And as I still had some time, I used it to take a leisurely drive along the sea. I listened to a podcast and enjoyed the view as I drove along.
In the end, I also stopped for a short break. At this place, the afternoon showed its best side just for me. The sun was already setting, but that provided some really nice light and a great atmosphere around me. The hardest part of my work was already done and what was to follow was actually rather pleasant and I was kinda looking forward to it. Fortunately, there are those moments when you actually enjoy your duty. I'm very grateful for that, which you could probably tell from my mood at that very moment.
It's exactly these times that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. The perfect life probably only exists for very few of us, and I also worry far too often about what is and what is yet to come. But I was able to take a short break here and recharge my batteries. And I took this energy and good mood with me to my next task. And that's exactly what I want to do next time again and therefor I really hope that life sometimes repeats itself. I am not sure what os going to happen, but I am just looking forward to it...
