During our recent visit to the Japanese capital, we explored a bit of new territory, but then again, we were quite often walking on familiar paths. To be honest, I really enjoy doing so, as it brings old experiences back to my mind and helps me to keep my memories of glorious times gone by fresh.

Unfortunately, it's not often that I get the chance to visit my favorite city, Tokyo, and when I do, there's so much I really want to see. And as usual, at the end of the day there's just not enough time, but I guess that's not just a familiar problem for me.

But anyway, I enjoyed my time in Tokyo and loved visiting some of the places where I've had a good time on previous occasions. One of these places is Ueno Park, right next to the large interchange station of the same name. Especially these days, this area is a destination for many visitors, not only from Tokyo but from all over the world, who want to enjoy the many cherry trees that are in bloom.

There is a very special tree at the entrance to the park that has probably made it into countless photos. During our visit, it was in full bloom and I didn't miss the opportunity to capture this splendor for myself. As I said, it's not the first time I've stood here and admired this tree, but it's always something very special and I was just delighted to finally be there again. Sometimes it doesn't take much to feel good.

All of a sudden, the many people around us no longer bother me at all and I was able to concentrate on the fantastic view that I was offered. That's exactly why I wanted to come back to Tokyo, and yeah... I finally made it again. By the way, this of course means that there will soon be more pictures from this great city, which I definitely don't want to withhold from you. So get ready for it...
