Even though the snow around us has now disappeared and a completely different season is taking over, the memories of our short but very heavy winter are far from gone. But what had been very stressful for many people also had a lighter side, which I enjoyed approaching. Even now, as I get older, I still enjoy having fun in the snow and want to show it everywhere I go.
And that includes, for example, every time there is new snow on the doorstep, using it to build a snowman. It doesn't matter whether it's small or large, the main thing is that it's fun.
And this winter I had the opportunity to live out this fun quite a few times and was able to get a little creative. Unfortunately, the results were usually short-lived and soon disappeared again, but that didn't stop me from doing it again next time. And in the future, in the next winter, I will hopefully be able to do it all again. And not just once, but as often as possible, because you simply can't miss the chance to have a bit of joy and excitement.
And I'm not the only one who seems to think so - other busy hands see it exactly the same way. These two massive snowmen are the best proof of this, and of course I didn't want to just scurry past them. Honor to whom honor is due!
My snowmen are usually not quite as perfectly shaped, even if they still look pretty good in my eyes. And as I said, what counts most is the fun and we certainly had a lot of it.
Especially when you spontaneously get the chance to show your creative side. It doesn't always have to be a snowman, a snowcat is also welcome which brought a big smile to more than just my face. Even if it couldn't stay for long, which is probably the fate of all my snow figures.
But as I said, that won't stop us from continuing next winter where we left off last winter. Let's see how much snow we'll get then, but I'm sure it will be enough for us to build a few new snowmen and enjoy them....
