It's snowing. Of course, that's nothing special for this time of year and it's not the first time this winter either. But now it finally seems to be really kicking off. It started on Wednesday and it snowed all day long. So I had my fears for Thursday and was worried about how I would get to work. I had two routes to choose from, and on a gut feeling I decided to take the route along the sea.

And it turned out to be the right choice, as the road along the coast was clear of snow and there were no problems with traffic. I was even surprised at how little snow there was on the beach. Everything was white in front of our house, but here the wind had probably blown most of the snow inland. It looked completely different just a hundred meters from the coast, but I wasn't driving along there that morning.

As I had planned a little extra time, I allowed myself a short stop by the water. A bit of fresh air is always nice in the morning and I also took the opportunity to do a few squats. Right here in front of this panoramic view it's the most fun.

During the day, winter took a rest, but in the evening it all started again. My way back took me along completely different roads and it was a bit of an adventure to drive there. But in the end I arrived home safely and am now wondering what it will look like in the morning. It's still snowing and, depending on the forecast, it could continue for quite a while.

All I can do at the moment is keep my fingers crossed. I just hope that the roads will be clear again the next day and that I can perhaps have another short stop here by the sea. Let's see how much more snow the winter will bring us during the night...
