Today we do with three more cherry blossom photos that I took a few days ago on our extremely windy cherry blossom tour. We were repeatedly shaken by squalls, but at least on that day they didn't manage to destroy the magnificent sakura magic. And the storms didn't stop me from getting out of my comfort zone (i.e. our car) and getting up close to the amazing spectacle either. After all, it's just too spectacular and that's why you have to see it up close.

Our destination that day was already somewhat familiar to us from previous years and we therefore had an idea of what to expect. The anticipation was all the greater, which even the stormy weather couldn't dampen. And I wasn't disappointed on site either and, as in previous years, I took far too many pictures. Although I now delete a large number of them quite quickly, my collection is still growing. I really want to include many of my pictures here in this blog, which has also become something of a reflection of my stay here in the Land of the Rising Sun. Looking back, I must have seen some pretty amazing things and must be extremely grateful for all that I have already been able to discover.

And you can feel the gratitude and joy of life especially these days when Queen Sakura pays us her respects. I, for one, won't miss this opportunity and go out to greet her. Whether it's raining or storming, the magic works in almost any weather. And luckily it's not over yet, so hopefully I'll have another opportunity to indulge in the glamour of these days....
