Over the last few years, I have found a few places where I have come pretty close to the magic of the cherry blossom and which I want to visit again year after year. Unfortunately, I also have far too many plans and far too little time to realize everything I have in mind. So I try to enjoy every blossoming cherry tree that comes my way, and fortunately I discover a lot of them.

Just like that day when I was driving along a familiar route on my way home from work. Out of the corner of my eye, I suddenly saw something glowing in a small park, which spontaneously prompted me to turn around and drive back. Some opportunities simply can't be missed and if you don't check, you don't know what you might miss.

And so it was that I entered this small, slightly hidden park, where a single cherry tree was in full bloom. There was a bench to the left and right of this beautiful tree, which I saw as a clear invitation to sit down here for a moment.

Sometimes you just have to take a short break and the spot here under this cherry tree couldn't have been better chosen. I was all alone here in this dreamy little park and suddenly the hustle and bustle of everyday life seemed far away. Well, the day had gone pretty well so far and this little break here under the cherry blossoms had been a wonderful highlight to get me in the mood for the rest of the afternoon.

Cherry blossoms are always good, and I am only too happy to be caught up in the magic that surrounds us at this special time of year. It's all over far too quickly, so it's best not to wait too long. Sometimes you just have to seize the opportunity when it comes, like on that day here in this little park. After all, life is meant to be lived...
