The winter weather seems to be over now, although you can't be completely sure about that these days either. In the end, it wasn't so bad here in our city, as I've seen completely different pictures, especially from the mountain regions. In some parts of Japan, people had to contend with extremely heavy snowfalls, which led to roads being closed and even houses collapsing because they could no longer bear the masses of snow on the roofs. Fortunately, it hadn't been that severe here and at least I had managed to find a positive side to the snow and winter weather.

Especially when it's so beautifully white and snowy outside, our world looks even better than usual. With a blanket of snow, some places reveal a completely different, often unknown side that is definitely worth discovering. Particularly on the beach, where people romp around in the waves in the hot months, you can discover some unique sights that I really wanted to see with my own eyes this time.

And that's why I made a few photo stops on my way back from work on the day of the big snowfall to experience, feel and capture the magic of that afternoon. One of these stops took me to a beach where I had been swimming many times before, but which I had never seen with so much white.

I was immediately captivated by this great atmosphere and just had to take a few photos. As expected, I was the only one around, but that probably made the atmosphere even more intense. The entire beach was white, and thick snowflakes came down from the sky without any pause, creating a thick blanket of snow in no time at all.

Everywhere you looked, there was nothing but snow and at that moment it was hard to imagine that in a few months this place would be teeming with wild beach life. Even though the seasons change, it seemed as if the snow had come here to stay forever.

After all, the snow that had fallen so far was just the beginning. In the coming hours, much more was to come down from the sky, which eventually led to a quite a few difficulties, especially in the city. Here on the beach, however, it created a wonderful atmosphere and I was glad to have come here for a short break.

Unfortunately, I couldn't stay long. I still had appointments and I was also getting whiter myself in all the snow. But I took my time and wanted to take a few photos here and there. I was just too excited and had to capture this beautiful scene in front of me. Inwardly, I also knew that what I was seeing here wouldn't last long. Times change too quickly and now it is actually time for spring. But I met winter and came very close to this special season. And for that I was very grateful and asked him to come back one day. Maybe we can meet again at this very spot and dance a little through the snow together...
