Times change quickly. Around two weeks ago, winter made a great comeback and really surprised us once again. The temperatures plummeted and around us everything turned completely white. Now, not so much later, it looks different outside again, at least here in the city. The roads are clear, fortunately I have to say, and in many places the snow has either melted or been cleared away. Outside the city gates, it's a different story, there the white splendor lasts longer and in many places it still looks wonderfully white and wintry.
And to make sure I don't forget the onset of winter so quickly, I took a whole host of pictures again. With these I am quickly back in the winter wonderland and out and about in the thickest snow. But even this snowstorm didn't prevent me from stopping and taking a few photos here and there on that day. The landscape I saw around me looked too magnificent and what I saw was too inviting to drive past quickly.
Just like this playground, where there is normally a red octopus waiting for excited and happy children to romp around on it. Well, this time he had his peace and quiet, even though it's certainly fun to play around here even when it's snowing. The following days, however, he certainly had more visitors who wanted to spend time with him again.
After all, I had only come to take a few quick pictures. And even after this short stop, I first had to shake off the snow that had rapidly accumulated on top of me. I was quickly on my way again, but I was still in a really good mood. I enjoyed the snow flurries, which would become even more intense towards the evening and bring around 30 centimetres of fresh snow. But I didn't even want to think about that at that moment, I just enjoyed the magic of the scenery and enjoyed everything I could still see despite the snow.
I'm sure it will look completely different next time, and who knows, maybe we'll be climbing to the top of the red octopus again ourselves. I know someone who really wants to do that and I would love to fulfill that wish this year.
I wouldn't actually mind if winter showed up once more. At least I am having my fun, and if I look around my small team, I'm definitely not the only one....
