Do you like fairy tales?

I am sure that when you were a child you adored the world of fairy-tale characters and the unshakable faith in miracles that they give. And yet, you probably dreamed of finding yourself inside a fairy tale at least once.

And if you watch the dynamic turn of the fairy tale plot right from a comfortable chair in the auditorium in the middle of the puppet theater?

Tempting?

Of course.

For some reason, I was always sure that the puppet theater is a place where the puppets are pulled by the strings, making them move in this way, but for the viewer this performance is not very exciting.

I confess that I was mistaken, ignoring visits to the puppet theater, because staging a fairy tale in a puppet theater is a whole magical performance with lively talented actors, their successful reincarnations into vivid fairy-tale images, a coherent storyline and thoughtful musical accompaniment.

It so happened that we got to the production of "Dwarf nose", although we did not know in advance what exactly we were going to.

The children, as well as their parents, listened to the whole show with interest what was happening on the stage for an hour, watching the wanderings of the poor dwarf and the meanness of the witch.

Inside, the theater is decorated with colorful images from childhood of familiar fairy-tale characters and therefore seems to be a close, familiar and hospitable place.

There is an aquarium with fish and turtles on the lower floor of the theater, which was an unexpected but pleasant surprise for us.

An exhibition of puppets is open for visitors, so it is worth having a spare time before the performance for a detailed acquaintance with the puppetry arsenal of the theater.

The ticket price is 100 UAH, which is a little less than 4 dollars.

As a result, we managed to spend the weekend evening profitably and in a wonderful new place.
