Before the first performance started, there was an MC who led us to practice clapping. It seems the performance was a recording of a TV variety show that was to be aired on the 15th day of the Chinese New Year. So we were pretending to be audience on that day.

第一场演出开始前，有一位主持人带领我们排练拍手。 看来演出是为了录制元宵节播出的电视综艺节目。 所以那天我们是扮演元宵节的观众。

The performance started with a lion dance.

表演以舞狮开场。

I had not see a live lion dance for about two years. Maybe longer.

我已经有两年没看过现场舞狮了。 也许多过两年。

So I snapped some more pictures.

于是我继续拍了几张照片。

A few local celebrities came on stage to sing Chinese New Year songs.

几位本地艺人上台演唱农历新年歌。

Some guy was running around with his hairy legs recording part of the show.

一个家伙正在跑来跑去，露出毛茸茸的腿边录制节目的一部分。

In between, the lion dance continue.

其间，舞狮还在继续。
