After a recent dinner, I was passing by the Singapore Food Festival area. That's the chef arena so I guess we cannot go in there.

The area is fenced up because it's a ticketed event. and you can see the inside (watch the video for that). The ticket include some credits for food.

If you don't want to pay to go in, you can settle for $8.50 hot dog from the food truck nearby.
