How we answer these big questions tells a lot about who we are and it is the biggest driving force behind how we live our life and our decision making processes.
- Cosmology - How did space, time and matter come into existence?
For years many scientists believed that the universe had always existed and that it was a never changing constant. Then they began to realize that in actuality there were a great many changes occurring in our universe all the time and that nothing was constant. Recently they have discovered that the universe had a beginning and that it was currently expanding in all directions. If the universe had a beginning and is expanding then it only stands to reason that at some point it will expand out into infinity and cease to exist.

I think that we can have a lot of interesting and fun debates about these subjects in the future and I look forward to taking them one at a time and finding out the different viewpoints from around the world and from people of different philosophical and religious backgrounds. I'm sure we will see a fair share of hateful or prideful thoughts during these discussions but we should also have plenty of thought provoking and informative replies also.
What do you think, can we discuss these things in a polite, honest, and open minded way, or is debate dead and answers to these questions taboo and not for public discussion anymore?
