In May 2021, when I visited the zoo, I came to these birds that cannot fly.

2021年5月，我参观动物园时，来到了这些不会飞的鸟儿。

Yet, they have a good life. Sheltered from the elements of harsh weather. Probably homed in an air-conditioned environment.

然而，他过着得挺好的生活。免受恶劣天气的影响。大可能还有空调的环境中居住。

Away from them, the pelicans are quite free.

远离他们一点，鹈鹕是相当自由的。

Oh, nearby I see ship ahoy.

哦，附近我看到“船”。

Then it started to rain.Many of the pelicans like this one sought shelter.

然后开始下雨了。许多像这只鹈鹕想办法避雨。

It got heavier and heavier. Few were braving the weather.

雨越下越大。几只继续冒着风雨。

Whatever shelter couldn't keep them dry.

雨下得这么多也无法避。

I went for shelter a while and saw the zoo was nice enough to have a water dispenser.

我去避雨一会儿，看到动物园很好，有一个饮水机。

The rain continue to pour on the pelicans.

雨继续倾泻在鹈鹕身上。

By then, I only saw one still wadding around.

到那时，我只看到一只还在水中。

I saw the tram went by and thought, I'd have to pay to ride one of these if the rain didn't stop.

我看到有电车经过，心想，如果雨不停，我就得花钱坐其中一辆。
