It was Monday 20220110. I had a day off from work and decided to go Chinatown to take a look at the Chinese New Year decorations that were up already. 那是星期一 20220110。

我放了一天假，决定去牛车水看看已经设立的农历新年装饰。

The main decoration is at the road divider with a "family" of tigers.

主要装饰在道路分隔线是一群老虎“家庭”。这可真是马路如虎口。

As I crossed the road, I could see there were decorations hung above the road.

过马路时，我看到马路上方挂着装饰灯。

Passed by a famous bak kwa store which already had people queueing then.

经过一家着名的肉干店，当时已经有人排队。

The road divider had multiple tiger theme decorations.

马路中间有多个老虎主题的装饰。

The sun was still up so the decorations were not lighted up.

太阳还没下落，新年装饰还没亮起来。

However, some of them still looks very nice under daylight.

然而，其中一些在日光下仍然看起来非常漂亮。

I reached Chinatown and that part wasn't that crowded.

我到达了牛车水，那部分并不那么拥挤。

One store had new year plants for sale.

一家商店出售新年植物。

Another part were more crowded.

另一区有更多人在走动。

The stalls here were before the Smith Street which used to be a food street.

这里的摊位位于曾经是美食街的史密斯街之前。

The food stalls were all closed but one store inside the shophouse is a Vietnamese food restaurant and it extended out with this nice entrance on the outside.

食物摊都关了，但店屋内的一家店是越南料理餐厅，它把这个特别的入口延伸到外面。

South Bridge Road also has decorations above the road.

桥南路的上方也有装饰。
