Ukraine is successfully repelling ground attacks, but our weak point now is air defense. For about 10 days now, Russian aircraft have been bombing peaceful Ukrainian cities, destroying residential neighborhoods and killing many civilians, including women, children and the elderly.
On March 4, 2022, the UN reported that as a result of Russian bombing of cities in Ukraine, more than 1,000 civilians have been killed or injured.
The Russian army (especially aviation and artillery) acts like a terrorist organization, so the SSO of Ukraine has even decided that Russian artillerymen will no longer be taken prisoner, but will be shot on the spot, through destroyed cities and killed civilians.
Ukrainians are very grateful for the military support of our main allies (Britain, the United States, Turkey and Poland), but NATO in general is now showing weakness and cowardice. A few days ago, we were promised 70 fighters (to shoot down the same Russian bombers that are bombing our cities), but Russia put pressure on some countries, and this aid was canceled. Also on March 4, NATO refused Ukraine's request to close our skies.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi spoke on this issue as follows:
"If you can't introduce the closing of the sky now, NOW give us the deadline: WHEN? If you can't give the deadline to the Ukrainians now, when you introduce it... [tell me]: how many are needed? How many people should [die]? How many arms, legs, heads do you need to be torn off, for you to decide closing the skies?! [How many victims do you need - to understand that you need to close the sky?!!!]"
Finally, let me remind you a little history. When Hitler tore apart Poland and Czechoslovakia, everyone stood aside. There was the so-called "Chamberlain containment policy", the policy of extreme liberals (or rather cowards). So, remember, did that policy help restrain Hitler? No, on the contrary, it only inflamed his impudence and appetite, he soon attacked other countries!! So there is no need to repeat old mistakes, the whole world must consolidate against Russian aggression now!
