Hello, friends. As you know, I am from Ukraine, and yesterday my country was subjected to a massive Russian attack from three sides. The betrayal of our second neighbor (Belarus) allowed the Russian army to attack Ukraine also from the north.

Thank you for your support on telegram. Since many people ask me about the events, I decided not to answer today each one individually, but to write a post.

Not only military facilities were attacked, but also peaceful cities

Russian rocket strikes were carried out on ukrainian largest cities: Kharkov, Odessa, our capital Kiev and others.

On February 24, 60 battalion tactical groups of the army of the Russian Federation entered Ukraine (approximately 70% of the total number that they have).

According to official data, in first day of war we shot down 30+ Russian tanks, 130+ armored vehicles, 7 planes and 6 helicopters.

In the battle near the town of Glukhov, 15 Russian tanks were knocked out.

Russian troops were thrown back almost everywhere, and only in rare sectors of the front were they able to go deeper by 40 kilometers.

The Russians had a temporary tactical success: an assault force was landed from 34 helicopters and the Gostomel airfield was captured, through which they were going to transfer troops. But by evening, the Ukrainian army recaptured the airfield, and all Russian paratroopers were killed.

One of the seven Russian aircraft shot down on February 24 in the sky of Ukraine.

Of the greatest successes of the Russian army at the moment: the Kakhovka hydro-electric power plant in the very south of Ukraine, and the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, in the very north of the country, are captured. I'm afraid that these barbarians might deliberately create a new nuclear catastrophe that will poison the whole of Europe. Also, knowing their methods for 8 years of a surrogate war, their manner of placing artillery batteries in residential areas and firing at us from there so that we could not answer them, not wanting to fall into the civilian population, they are quite capable of installing an artillery battery at a nuclear power plant and firing from there, also knowing that we will not respond (in order to avoid a catastrophe with damage to a nuclear reactor).

The capture of two power plants is a small tactical success of Putin against the backdrop of the fact that he was planning a blitzkrieg with the capture of all of Ukraine. But the blitzkrieg definitely failed, and on the second day, no longer having the effect of surprise, the Russian army will have even more difficult times.

If we draw an analogy with the first day of the war of Nazi Germany against the USSR, and the first day of the war of Russia against Ukraine, then Russia failed. Unfortunately, in both the first and second cases, the land of Ukraine became the battlefield. For now russians failed to take advantage of the moment of surprise, and got hit in the teeth. However, it is important to remember that this is only the beginning, we are only starting the second day of open warfare.

I think many will agree that now Ukraine is protecting not only itself, but the entire civilized world. Because if Ukraine falls, Putin won't stop there. The next target will be Poland and the Baltic countries.

Unfortunately, we are still alone in the war with Russia

The civilized world continues to only threaten with a finger and express its "condemnation" of Russia. Obviously, one condemnation of the aggressor cannot be stopped.

Biden's February 24 speech struck me as extremely unconvincing. At this stage in the development of events, one increase in sanctions is already extremely insufficient for the result. I believe that this will gradually ruin Russia, but the war is already going on, and the fact that Russia will be ruined in a year or two, is not getting any easier now.

I want to remind everyone that before the Second World War, the so-called "containment policy" of Chamberlain and other liberals not only did not stop Hitler, but untied his hands and whetted his appetite!

Let me also remind you that Ukraine used to be a nuclear weapon, we previously had the third largest arsenal of nuclear weapons in the world and we voluntarily renounced nuclear weapons, in accordance with the Budapest Memorandum, in which a number of countries pledged to act as guarantors of Ukraine's security in return for our renunciation of nuclear weapons. Now one of these guarantors (Russia) has attacked Ukraine itself, while others are showing fear and standing aside.

We are very grateful to the US and Britain for the supply of anti-tank weapons such as "Javelins", but now it is very important to close the sky of Ukraine, our weak point is air defense, and Russia is taking advantage of this.

I understand that no one wants to get involved in a war, but we must learn from history. There is no need to repeat the mistakes of the liberals on the eve of World War II, who stood aside while Hitler tore apart Czechoslovakia and Poland. Then the civilized world did not come to the defense of these countries, and France fell next.
