Asides from its location, and how it is maintained, there are other important facts about the national park, that makes it the pride of the Australian people.
The word Uluru was derived from an ancient Australian dialect, which means “A shadowed place”.
Among other erected structures in its environs, the Uluru mountain stands well over 300meters high. According to experts, a majority of the mountain's formation is down below the earth's core.
Many may conclude that the Uluru-Kata Tjuta mountain is well above its estimated count of 300meters.

The Uluru-Kata Tjuta national park is one of the most exciting places to be in Australia.
For many, it is simply about coming out during sunsets, to look at the effect the sunsets have on the rocks at the park.
While for others, it is interested to see how such a beautiful place is maintained by these traditional landowners.
