Hello Scorum
Here I am again with some more impressions which I came across this year. Since travelling is still limited and restricted, also here in this part of the world, I had to stick to my immediate vicinity and prefecture. But even close to our own homes, there are so many wonderful places which are worth a visit.
During my daily tours I often find the time to take a different route to stop here and there and have a look around. That's where I found lots of interesting and rather hidden temples and shrines, which are sometimes located quite of the beaten track.
Like Nakayama-jinja, a shrine which is right in the forest. Nakayama 中山 actually means in the mountain, as I first had to climb a long flight of stairs, before I was finally there.
I love those little excursion as the show me a very different and special side of the country I living right now.
It's the daily life impressions which often make the biggest impact and which are there to stay. And which I eventually feel attached to the most.
Have a great day everyone, I will be back soon with more impressions from the land of the rising sun.
