Love and hate, are two sides of the same coin

One can't exist without the other, a contradiction that's hard to join,

Love can bring us peace and joy, it can make us feel so alive

But hate can bring us pain and sorrow, it can make us feel so deprived

Love can bring us comfort and hope, it can make us feel so strong

But hate can bring us despair and sadness, it can make us feel so wrong

Love can bring us light and beauty, it can make us feel so free

But hate can bring us darkness and destruction, it can make us feel so weak

Love and hate, are two sides of the same coin

One can't exist without the other, a paradox that's hard to join

But if we can learn to embrace both, we will find a way to make them one.
