I have started a new Telegram group For Scorum members who are either experienced writers and enjoy writing stories, or beginning writers that have always wanted to write fictional stories. If you are looking for a place to stretch your imagination, get feedback on your work, improve your writing skills, and find out if you have what it takes to become a successful writer, then this group is definitely for you.
Goals
- To support and encourage fellow writers on Scorum
- To attract new writers and promote creative writing on Scorum
- To operate and support creative writing based contests and initiatives
- To attract expert writers and editors to Scorum
- To form lasting friendships with writers from all around the world
Membership
For now anyone who makes a serious attempt to write a fictional story at least 500 plus words in length will receive an invitation to join. In the future, as the group grows and we learn more about what it takes to make a good member, the requirements for entry may increase in the level of difficulty.
I want to note right away that I am an amateur writer myself and I'm starting this group in hopes that it will grow and that the expertise of our membership will also rise dramatically over time. I enjoy writing a story, but I know that I have a lot to learn and this is where I intend to start that process.
Rules
We will write the rules as we go, first we get a base membership of writers and then we can talk things over and determine if we need to establish some rules, and if so, what they should encompass.
That's it for right now, I just wanted to get this started and find out if there are any gifted and experienced writers out there, or others like me who would like to learn to write a good story. If so, then write your first story and post it in the writing category, include your telegram handle, and wait for your invitation or a message from me on telegram!
I will be writing my first story soon and I can't wait to see who else loves to tell a story.
